T.R.A.W. Legislative Day/"Hike the Hill" is an important event that benefits every Washington Tow Operator. This is our opportunity to work together and have our voices heard while educating our Lawmakers on the issues that affect our businesses, industry, and bottom line.

Schedule of Events:

9 AM - Pre-Meeting with T.R.A.W. Lobbyists:

Review Legislative Agenda and Approach with Lawmakers (Double Tree Boardroom: 415 Capitol Way N)

10 AM to 4 PM - Meetings: Schedule your appointments in advance with your Lawmakers to discuss Industry issues (Capitol Buildings)

5:00 to 8 PM - Legislative Reception: Meet & Greet all Lawmakers in attendance and help expand their knowledge of our challenges and thank them for their support (Double Tree Bar: 415 Capitol Way N)

*There is a free shuttle running along Capitol Way allowing for easy travel between the Double Tree to the Capitol Buildings. Avoid the difficulty of locating parking at the Capitol and utilize the shuttle instead.

Typically, appointments times will be 15 to 30 minutes.

The only way that your participation does not make an impact is if you do nothing at all!



If you are unable to attend the event, then you can still participate.

Our strength is in numbers and it takes us flooding Lawmakers with our voices to have the best impact. Make phone calls and send emails that day - ask friends and family to do the same - and join us for the evening reception. Can't attend in person at all? Then make a difference and contribute to the efforts by making those phone calls and sending emails. These efforts still make a tremendous difference and strengthens the message that those in person are advocating for.
