Row
by
Row
is
ON!

If you're looking for a good excuse to get out and visit fabric stores, maybe get a hamburger, some pastry or donuts, then Row by Row is your alibi.

Visit us and other stores, collect kits, then whip up eight rows into a quilt. Be the first to bring a finished quilt to Hip Stitch and you'll win the big, big prize of 25 fat quarters.

If the Hip Stitch row is in your quilt, there's a bonus prize, too. Our row -- a vertical, depicting white, blue and yellow tortilla chips t umbling into a bowl of salsa -- was designed by Beth Trujillo. Her family goes back generations in New Mexico, so you know this recipe is muy auténtico.

Or just visit some shops, have some snacks or meals out and have some fun.

This year's theme: "Taste the Experience" so bring your appetite.

Row by Row License Plates, too!

Charm School
No, we don’t think you need to be schooled on manners but we want to offer you an opportunity to utilize those 5-in fabric squares that may have been multiplying in your stash. Charm School will feature designs that utilize those squares. This three hour class will be beginner friendly and teach techniques that will further enhance your quilting repertoire. Charm School projects will predominantly feature table runners and baby quilts but many of these projects can be expanded to larger sizes by using more charm square packs.

The Ruby Slippers
You don't have to be a friend of Dorothy to appreciate the machine we dubbed, "The Ruby Slippers." Showing here the component parts with the finished machine we called "The Emerald City."

Both machines feature extra large metallic flake, and while Emerald City is headed to it's new home in Florida, with Beth S., where it will doubtless impress manatees and the mermaids at the Weeki Wachee Springs.

The Ruby Slippers machine is now lonely and looking for a forever home. If you can promise not to relegate it to some closet with all your Manolo Blahniks and Ferragamos, come pay it a visit and see if it's meant to be yours.
Now in store -- come see!
