This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, join Assistance League of Los Angeles in our launch of โ€œBlast Off with Books!โ€, a campaign for new books running from January 20th to March 17th!

Dr. King believed in education as a force for change, and books provide children with the knowledge, imagination, and confidence to shape their futures. Unfortunately, many children living in poverty or experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles do not have home libraries. Additionally, many children affected by the recent wildfires have lost their home libraries along with their homes.

๏ปฟ

Together, we can build first-time libraries and rebuild what was lost.

Our goal is to collect 10,500 brand-new books.

With your help, we can bring the joy of reading back into the lives of so many children in need.
