ASU Opens New Gaming and E-Sports
Laboratory and Recreational Center
Alabama State University held the grand opening of its inaugural Gaming and E-Sports Laboratory and Recreational Center on March 8, which is located on the first-floor of the John Garrick Hardy Student Center.

BFA Dance Students Awarded Scholarships
Four ASU’s BFA Dance majors received full scholarships to attend the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Exploration Lab in Birmingham on March 24-25. The scholarship covers the full cost of the training workshop.

ASU alumna Cubie Rae Hayes has been named the Alabama Education Support Professional of the Year by the AEA, receiving the 2023 Doris Strode Champion Award.
