FAMILY RECIPE LEGACY
Chicken Farmers of Canada once again partners with Quell
Most of us have fond memories growing up in the kitchen or cooking with our family. Many times those aromas, flavours and ingredients bring back the memories of that dish and the person who did it best. Often, we yearn for that dish but don't always remember the recipe or it is not written down because it was always a "dash of" and a "pinch of" and will be eventually lost over time. We want to help Canadians preserve these memories and flavours and continue to pass these on to future generations.
We challenged chefs to document and capture recipes they may have forgotten or lost that was made by their greatest inspiration.
Click the image below for a video of Chef Bashir's delicious family legacy recipe - Harissa Chicken.

Hello Culinary Federation members!
We are excited to be a new partner of the Federation.
Established in 1987, and formerly Bonduelle Americas, Nortera is the North American benchmark in the vegetable processing industry. Under its national brand Arctic Gardens, it offers a diversified portfolio of products available through several distribution channels.
Today, operators are looking for ways to improve their efficiency in the kitchen. With critical labour challenges as well as increasing economic pressures, operators are obligated to be more conscious of what and how they use products to build their menus. Fortunately, there are great product options that answer to both of these challenges. An awesome example: frozen vegetables! Often underestimated, they are one of the simplest and most affordable options that can be incorporated into many different recipes on menus. Their ready-to-cook composition is versatile, easy, and quick to use which can help eliminate time consuming preparation steps[1].
We launched two new Arctic Gardens Roasting vegetable products this year, perfect for Fall: Brussel-Style and Root Blend. These versatile mixes feature a homemade cut and offer multiple options for creative and nutritious vegetable-packed recipes. Discover them HERE.
Here are some awesome recipes to try:
