Kim M. Barry, LCSW-C, is a social work veteran with over 20 years of experience serving the metropolitan area. She has served on The Victims Advisory Board in Montgomery County and The Inter-Faith Community against Domestic Violence (IFCADV). She has presented at several conferences on subjects such as substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, and women’s issues in the Criminal Justice System.
In 2018, Kim received a certificate of Outstanding Service and Commitment from Women Empowered to Achieve The impossible (WETATI). She is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery Class of 2016. She was awarded the Angels among Us Community Service Award in 2015 by the Potomac Valley Chapter of The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). Kim received Presidential Awards for Volunteerism from President Barack Obama and President George W. Bush in 2007. Kim is author of
