How may we help you?

As you head into the end of the year and prepare for the new year and tax time, how can your Hyperion Bankers assist you?
We can help you review (or build) that year-end financial checklist or provide an assist as you review your financial plan; strategize around tax issues, estate planning, investments or insurance; review credit and debt against changing needs; or simply take a fresh look at individual and business banking needs.
Perhaps you are a Hyperion commercial customer and a new year is the time to consolidate, bringing your personal banking to us as well. Or vice versa? Maybe there is a process you’ve been meaning to automate? Determining the appropriate line of credit or other facility? Revisit CDs or IRAs?
Visit our Atlanta or Philadelphia banking offices, make an appointment for a visit from your banker or simply connect by phone, 215-789-4200 or 404-381-2110. We’re here to help you wrap up your year & prepare for an efficient, successful new one!

Happy customer
Debit card management...at your fingertips 24/7
|
|
“Arriving home very late after a weekend night out I realized I had left my debit card behind. The place we had been was by then closed and it was after banking office hours. I was so happy to discover I could block my card from (Hyperion’s) mobile app!”
This customer’s experience is a good reminder to check out the card functionality of your Hyperion mobile app. Log in, navigate to “cards” and set a travel plan (like using your card outside the U.S.), report a lost or stolen card, activate your card and more. See our mobile banking, mobile deposit and card management online tutorials.

Temple University
Our leaders lead
Hyperion’s Charlie Crawford recently accepted an invitation to serve on the Advisory Board for the Fischer-Shain Center for Financial Services in the Fox School of Business at Temple University. The Advisory Board provides curriculum feedback, creates networking opportunities, promotes internship and employment opportunities, and develops and oversees the Center’s strategic plan. Its members also often speak to the School’s Commercial Credit Essentials course, which sounds right up Charlie’s alley.

Jenn Gardella
Commercial lending pro with strong area ties
Hyperion Bank’s Philadelphia Banking Office welcomes Jenn Gardella as Vice President, Commercial Lending. She has community banking experience in the Philadelphia region, specializing in real estate lending, financing both local construction projects and long-term commercial investment rental properties. In addition to the Philadelphia regional real estate market, Jenn has worked for years with customers in New Jersey shore communities and has an extensive SBA lending background. The South Jersey native (Barrington) attended Camden Community College for Business Administration and recently moved back to South Jersey from King of Prussia. “I enjoy working within the community I live and play in, and it is especially satisfying to be a small part of the growth and revival of so many Philadelphia neighborhoods through past and current financing projects,” she says. Please welcome Jenn to the Hyperion family!

CareerSpring
Giving an assist to first-gen students & grads
Hyperion’s Charlie Crawford, far left, is pictured with Dan Smith (center), at the conclusion of CareerSpring’s Q4 Atlanta Board of Advisors meeting. Smith, who is President of First Community Mortgage and a Hyperion customer and shareholder, chairs the Atlanta Advisors.
CareerSpring is a state-of-the-art platform designed to serve first-generation students and graduates through information, advice and placement, recognizing that many first-gens do not have the info, network(s) or social capital needed to realize their potential. Check out the link; if you have candidates for sponsors, employer partners or college/university partners for CareerSpring, please reach out to Charlie or Dan.
The other amazing CareerSpring Atlanta Advisors pictured are, from left, (Crawford), ShaJra Austin, Barbara Deskey, (Smith), Camille Naughton, David Slovensky & Loucha Simon-Francois, CareerSpring’s Regional Program Manager for Atlanta.

On the run
Thanksgiving tradition
Hyperion’s Charlie Crawford (5K) and his daughter Kay Crawford (half marathon!) kept up a family tradition by running the Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day races, put on by the Atlanta Track Club. Runners & walkers started their races (5K, half marathon, mile & dash) under Atlanta's iconic Olympic rings. Charlie is former board chair of the Track Club and has been known to run occasionally. #RunningCityUSA

#CommunityBanker
Making gameday connections
At a recent Eagles game Hyperion’s Nicole Leitz says, “This is why I support small businesses,” like @creativelyobsessed, who created the necklace she is sporting in this pic. Apparently a number of Eagles fans asked about it. In addition to info about that SMB, those fans also got something else. “I have given all my business cards out…never leave home without them! You never know!”
