We love this beautiful, happy song, written and performed by artist, Adam Kahana, and his sister. This was recorded during our first Wellness Wednesday virtual concert last week.

We hope this song brings joy to your day!
Thank You, VOLUNTEERS
We remain forever grateful to our hundreds of volunteers, whose helping hands contribute to our ability to respond to the needs of our community. We could not accomplish what we do without you.

A recent example of how wonderful our volunteers are:

Our Community Engagement Project Manager put out a call for volunteers to delivery meals on Thanksgiving day. Within two hours of the request, all of the volunteer slots had been filled! This is our first year delivering meals on holidays so we did not know what to expect. Our volunteers never let us down.
Thank You, DONORS
Thank you for your support this year. It has been a challenging year of adjustments due to COVID-19. Our loyal donors continue to give to help fund the important work that we do for the community.

Thank you to those who have purchased tickets for Broadway on a Mission: A Virtual Benefit Concert for Covid Relief. We weren't able to hold our major fundraising event, Dining With the Family, this past spring due to the pandemic. We pivoted and with the help of our Board of Directors, Development Committee, and partnership with Broadway producer Thomas Laub, we created an amazing virtual concert event.
Thank You, SPONSORS
Sponsorship for our events, like Broadway on a Mission, is so very important. We have several long-time sponsors, and a few new ones this year. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with a diverse group of businesses that truly believe in giving back to our wonderful community.
Please remember JFS next week on Giving Tuesday, December 1.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that inspires people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Thank You, COMMUNITY PARTNERS
We are thrilled to be recognized by Gateways for Growth (G4G) for our work with refugee resettlement. JFS was honored with an award that provides research support to improve immigrant inclusion in our community. We are one of just 19 agencies, nationwide, in this cohort. As a member of this group, JFS will help lay the groundwork and build the infrastructure for economic, civic, and social inclusion at the local level.

Thank you to all of our corporate clients including, (but not limited to), Bank of Ann Arbor, Jiffy, Dykema, Zingerman’s, AAPS, Retirement Income Solutions, MI Students Dream, and Menlo Innovations, who are committed to learning and evolving, and supporting the health and wellness of their employees through training and development.

Thanks to a great community partnership, recipients of JFS Thanksgiving-day meal deliveries will notice some special treats from Zingerman's Bakehouse in their packages. Zingerman's reached out to JFS and offered some of their tasty breads and pastries for the Specialty Food Pantry.

Thank you to everyone who has supported JFSMade, our Micro-Enterprise-Development program that supports refugees and others in becoming economically self-sufficient by providing assistance with the development, expansion and maintenance of a micro-business. Your purchases of gift baskets, or products from individual vendors is greatly appreciated.

The Holiday Gift Boxes order deadline is November 30. Only 100 boxes will be made this year, so don't delay.

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor is one of our great community partners. Their all-online 2020 Ann Arbor Jewish Book Festival, celebrating Jewish authors and the stories they tell, begins the evening of November 30 and continues through December 22.
Thank You, CLIENTS
We appreciate each and every one of our clients; you are why we are here. Thank you for your courage, and for putting your trust in us.
