A recent example of how wonderful our volunteers are:
Our Community Engagement Project Manager put out a call for volunteers to delivery meals on Thanksgiving day. Within two hours of the request, all of the volunteer slots had been filled! This is our first year delivering meals on holidays so we did not know what to expect. Our volunteers never let us down.

Thank you to those who have purchased tickets for Broadway on a Mission: A Virtual Benefit Concert for Covid Relief. We weren't able to hold our major fundraising event, Dining With the Family, this past spring due to the pandemic. We pivoted and with the help of our Board of Directors, Development Committee, and partnership with Broadway producer Thomas Laub, we created an amazing virtual concert event.

We are thrilled to be recognized by Gateways for Growth (G4G) for our work with refugee resettlement. JFS was honored with an award that provides research support to improve immigrant inclusion in our community. We are one of just 19 agencies, nationwide, in this cohort. As a member of this group, JFS will help lay the groundwork and build the infrastructure for economic, civic, and social inclusion at the local level.

The Holiday Gift Boxes order deadline is November 30. Only 100 boxes will be made this year, so don't delay.
The Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor is one of our great community partners. Their all-online 2020 Ann Arbor Jewish Book Festival, celebrating Jewish authors and the stories they tell, begins the evening of November 30 and continues through December 22.
