ART OF LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
leadershipAn Inspiring Experience in Leadership and Compassion!

The young leaders in Art with a Heart's Art of Leadership Program recently visited The National Federation of the Blind and participated in a series of experiential activities to learn the challenges and achievements of people with limited or no sight. The staff and volunteers at the National Federation of the Blind were wonderful partners in creating a unique experience for our leaders. The group tackled each activity with enthusiasm and humility.  It was inspiring to see their confidence grow as they conquered each new task. Following the session, one of the leader's shared:  "I just loved meeting the people and experiencing their happiness. I loved being educated and learning things I never knew before.  I also loved how willing they were to answer questions."

The collaborative collage now adorns a hallway in the school to the delight of the City Springs' students and Principal. In an email to school staff, Principal Richetta recognized the project and the Art with a Heart teacher and assistant.
