Kamren has known his mentor, Jin, for over ten years.
You may remember Kamren and Jin from the CBS segment that aired earlier this year.
The two first met when he was in third grade through the Chicago Lights Tutoring program.
Kamren gave Jin a note that said,
"I really love you as my tutor. I hope we make it to twelfth grade."
Here they are ten years later. Kamren, now a freshman studying accounting at Harold Washington College, has gotten quite a bit taller.
In just five days, 440 students will be back for the 55th year of Chicago Lights Tutoring.
