*Dancers should arrive at DNE in hair, makeup & costume.

*Classes will practice their routines in the Main Ballroom.

*One parent/guardian is welcome to watch their child's performance.

*If your dancer(s) has multiple classes in one show, please have them bring all of their

costumes, accessories etc.

NOTE: There will be no classes the week of school spring break,

April 21 through April 26, 2025, and no classes the week of

dress rehearsals/festival, April 28 through May 3, 2025

Performance Tights

Tights MUST be purchased through DNE.

Tights Go ON SALE starting on 

April 1, 2025

We will be using the same brand of tights as last season. The office will have tights sorted by class, with the correct size and style for each student.

The only exception is the Capezio Pink Seamed tights, which have a slightly different sizing. These will be used for the following classes:

Pointe (Wednesdays at 7:00pm)

Jr. 2 Intensive Ballet (Mondays at 4:00pm)

Jr. 2/3 Ballet (Mondays at 5:30pm)

Pre-pointe (Mondays at 7:30pm)

Theater Etiquette

Please read our Theater Etiquette reminders below to help ensure a pleasant and positive Festival experience for all DNE families.

• Please arrive early on the day of the show. The parking lot is shared with other school activities, so it can get pretty full, especially during the Saturday shows. Leave yourself enough time to get your child to the appropriate dressing room an hour before their show as well as enough time to find your seats before the Opening Performance begins.

• No dancers will be allowed in the theater during any of the performances. Dancers should remain in their assigned dressing room until the end of the show.

• All Dancers will be participating in our Grand Finale at the end of each show.

• Please print out tickets at home and bring with you. This helps in keeping the line moving in order to get everyone into the theater in a timely manner.

• The Friday night show will have an intermission between Acts. However, the shorter Saturday shows will not have an intermission. If you do need to leave the theater during the show, please remember to do so between performances so not to disturb anyone sitting behind you.

Dancer's Class Recommendations will be emailed directly to you before Registration

What to do if your dancer wants to add a class that is not on their recommendation?

Ex: The recommended class is Intermediate Ballet, Tap & Jazz, but your dancer wants to add Hip Hop, you can add that at the time of your online registration.

If there was a class that you registered for that is not appropriate for your dancer,

a DNE staff member will call you to discuss class options.

The $30.00/$40.00 Registration Fee will be waived until May 31, 2025!
