Please be advised that a highly toxic and aggressively invasive plant called Jimson weed (a/k/a “thorn apple” and “Devil’s trumpet”) has been found and removed from three (3) gardens at EECO Farm. Although these patches are situated close together, it is possible that this nasty and very intrusive weed may have spread and is now hiding in other areas as well.
If found, kindly remove it very carefully --- with gloves --- as the sap from this weed is as bad as poison ivy if it makes skin contact!
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT add it to the EECO Farm compost wagon! It must be bagged and removed to the Town dump as it is non-recyclable garbage.
