ISW Humrahee

Our next meeting is at the India Center on Saturday 28th of May. We need all of you to come as we will be discussing what should be the future activities and goals for Humrahee. Please spread the word around and bring any friends that might like to join. Also please think of what you would like Humrahee to be doing and how it could get involved with our community.  We have had good success in the past couple of get togethers and we want to keep the momentum going.

ISW UNIVERSITY

ISW University classes like Lego Robotics, 3D Printing, AP Physics, one on one online tutoring are drawing to a close at the end of June. We invite volunteer tutors/teachers to sign up for our ISW University Summer 2022 program which will start June 27, 2022. If you want to teach Dance, Chess, Python, Indian cooking, Spanish, English, Robotics, Speech & Debate or anything new that will be great.
 
SAT Math classes started on Sunday May 1 2022. NOTE Registration for Session A is a prerequisite for Session B which starts June 26 and Session C on August 7. More information available here
 
ISWU FREE Heartfulness Meditation returns to India Center Weekends on Saturday at 9 am
 
3D Printing  We successfully completed several sessions and we welcome all enthusiasts to join us this summer at the ISW India Center to print out more figurines. If you are interested, send an email to ISWUniversity@iswonline.org

Congratulations to Aryan Kumar selected as Presidential Scholar from Massachusetts
ISW Congratulates Aryan Kumar who was selected to represent Massachusetts as the 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholar. Selected from over 5000 students who qualified, they comprise of one young man and one young woman from each state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and U.S. families living abroad, as well as 15 chosen at-large, 20 scholars in the arts and 20 scholars in career and technical education. Bystander Intervention Training

Given the increasing violence towards minorities and Asian Americans, it is important to know how to act when one is confronted with such a situation - either in person or as a bystander/observer. This is an important program that is being offered in both Hindi and English on June 9th by the Asian Community Fund, The Boston Foundation, Massachusetts House Asian Caucus, and Massachusetts Asian American and Pacific Islander Commission.
