If I had to sum up 2025 with one word, the word I would choose would be fast. The weeks and months raced by. As the saying goes, "time flies when you're having fun" and man did we ever!
With annual events and local traditions managing much of the calendar, we always have a good idea of what's on the horizon. We prepare and plan and anticipate what will be and yet we are always met with various surprises and alternative outcomes. Kind of like a new year. So, we continue to plan and prepare and definitely anticipate amazing results, but it will be when we are gathered together in the present that we will experience all of it and make wonderful new memories filled with those gosh darn surprises and some of those sticky alternative outcomes.
Chris and I remain entirely grateful to each of you for your commitment to this community and to the Elkhorn Chamber. The two of us play our part, but it is the collective that makes everything about this city and our area unique. Thank you for being part of our year. Thank you for being part of our network. Thank you for building and growing and launching into new things that continue to revitalize the community. We see it all and are continuously amazed by your hard work and dedication.
We wish each of you a Happy New Year! We may not be able to gather together at midnight to ring in 2026 and celebrate the good, the better and the best of 2025, but we do hope to see you all on January 15th where we can toast all there is to come. (RSVP below)
Enjoy your time with friends and family! Play games, eat too much and make as much noise as possible when the final tick-tock of 2025 sounds.
