A MEMO

FROM OUR HR OFFICER

On behalf of the HR team, thank you for tuning into the second edition of our first-ever HR newsletter!

From celebrating Black History Month to Dr. Sullivan winning the Best in Minority Business Awards Academic Leader of the Year to our students dominating in sports, February was a short but winning month for the district.

As we continue to strive for BCS excellence, let's ensure we are showing up for our students, parents and colleagues! As a reminder, BCS utilizes Frontline for time and attendance and absence management. New employees should note that when you receive the Frontline invitation, it expires 24 hours after the original time of submission. Also, principals are encouraged to reach out to Mrs. Sherrell Cheatom, scheatom2@bhm.k12.al.us, for their substitute needs.

As always, the HR team is here to assist in making sure our staff and students are getting the quality BCS experience each and every day.

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?"

- Martin Luther King Jr.
