At AES our people are critical to our success. It's important that each and every one of you have the development and training tools to advance your career and reach your full potential. With that in mind, we are pleased to share exciting news about our Career Progression Project. The Career Progression Project is developing a robust framework to empower AES people to manage their development, provide tools and resources on how to navigate career paths, and foster a culture of continuous learning within AES. 


As the first step of this activation, we are launching our evolved AES Core Competency model, which will be part of our upcoming Performance Objective Setting process with the Individual Development Plan (IDP). Guidelines will be provided to all eligible employees on how to incorporate competencies in this process once it launches on Tuesday, March 19. 


Our six core competencies will work alongside our values to represent the core knowledge, skills and behaviors all AES people need to succeed in their role with the Highest Standards.
