The studio is located on four beautiful acres in Narrowsburg - a hamlet in Sullivan County, New York, in the Catskills about 120 miles NW of NYC. (The year-round population was 269 according to the 2020 census.) Narrowsburg is the home of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.

My mother built the Narrowsburg studio 25 years ago as a retreat from NYC in the summer. The studio was located two and half hours from her Midtown Manhattan art studio on West 52nd Street. Several years after my mother passed away I closed the NYC studio and moved all the art up to Narrowsburg.

She loved driving friends up along the scenic Delaware River on the New Jersey and Pennsylvania border. A NY Times Real Estate article in describing Narrowsburg, said "The forests are dense thatches scattered with lakes, ponds and hidden waterfalls that sluice down rocky cliffs in the middle of nowhere".
