2023 COLOR OF THE YEAR IS...

Who doesn't get excited about the Fall? As we head into the cooler seasons, most of us start thinking about pulling out our favorite sweaters and blankets that have been tucked away, or the taste of a sweet pumpkin latte at the local coffee shop getting placed back on the menu. Even Sherwin Williams agrees the fall is a season loved by the majority! Their most popular paint colors have been warm earthy tones that make us feel cozy all year long.

Sherwin Williams has announced their 2023 Color of the Year, and it is yet again within the warm earthy palette. Redend Point is an earthy blush-beige—a subtle take on the seasonal browns and reds with a more evergreen appeal.

Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams, says the color choice is in line with a continued trend toward warmer neutrals. "We're seeing a greater interest in earthy elements and inviting hues like warmer whites, beiges and browns," she says. "Redend Point SW 9081 is a nourishing hue that we hope will inspire people to think about neutrals differently and realize how a warm, versatile, blush-beige color can easily coordinate and enhance other hues and décor in any space."
