This year’s annual Chamber celebration comes just after I enter my second year working for the Lake City Chamber of Commerce. Needless to say, sitting down to put together the annual report has been an exercise in personal and professional reflection.

Lake City, are you ready for some mind-freakin’ music? Galactic Cowboy Orchestra offers concert goers a liberating melting pot of genres elevated by riff magic, hummable melodies and groovy jams all grounded in a jazz bedrock.

Fish Fry Fridays!
It's no joke! There are only 2 or 3 fish frys remaining this season! Swing by for the best fish fry around, and THAT'S no joke either! Serving 5:00-7:30 or until gone on Friday night at the one and only Lake City Sportman's Club, located at 2200 S Oak St.

A Big Texas Annual Meeting
The Lake City Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that our annual meeting and celebration will occur on April 21 at the Sportsman’s Club!
The theme of the event is “Big Texas BBQ” and will feature house smoked meats from Kelly’s, games, and country and Americana music from the wonderfully talented Tim Emmons & the Stranger. Western-wear is encouraged. All are welcome. Let’s have fun!

Young Entrepreneur Competition | |
The MN Cup, is organized by the University of Minnesota, and it's available to any early-stage founder in the state.
MN Cup has become a great first step for launching a new business, offering free education, mentorship, promotional opportunities and seed funding for those that advance. Participants have until Friday, April 15, 2022 to submit their application. Learn more here.

The LC 150 and Three Little Men will sponsor an egg hunt on April 16th at the Band Field on Prairie St. The Easter Bunny plans to attend and a free lunch for the kids while supply lasts. 11:15 sharp – Bring your own basket!
Also in April, mark your calendars – April 23rd is the Quilt Show/Luncheon at St. Mary’s of the Lake.
And moving into May, Sara Holger will speak on the 22nd at the City Hall, about the Driftless Area, especially as it pertains to Lake City.
