John Adair, Director of Coaching
We are excited to announce John Adair as our new Director of Coaching. John most recently held the position as our Director of Operation and Lead Technical Boys Director. He joined our organization as a lead trainer a year ago and has hailed a reputation that is well sought after. The addition of John to our staff will allow us to continue our tradition of excellence in player development that we are proud to boast over 45 years in the community.

John brings a wealth of soccer experience, knowledge but also managerial experience makes him uniquely qualified to help us with this latest transition for our club. John has jumped into the role and has been helping us create new and improved programming throughout all of our soccer programs.

“I have a passion for developing players - plain and simple. There’s just something about the effect that a coach can have in a young person’s development that has always excited me,” said Adair.
“I’ve always had a romantic view of the game and think that it should be exciting for players, coaches, and spectators. With that in mind, my goal is to develop the types of players we all love to watch - creative, skillful, confident, difference-makers.
With an intentionally player-centered environment in place, I believe Buckingham United and CBAA Soccer can be a club full of players that keep us on the edge of our seats. I look forward to working with the Soccer Committee and coaching staff to making this a club with an exciting and recognizable identity.”

John will be offering office hours at our Indoor Training Center to allow for drop in and meetings. In addition, John will be spending time in the coming months working with our coaching/training staff and training your soccer players.

Please join us in welcoming John to our great soccer community. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.

College Commitment News
This month, we have one member of our Buckingham United 2000 Girl's Premier that has committed to extend her playing career in college. We are so proud of Meghan Coulton and all her hard work, she will be playing for the Eagles of Eastern University. Meghan is a tenacious defender with a large attacking presence, often the trigger for transitions into the final third and creating overloads and scoring opportunities. Meghan is also an active member of our Junior Coaches Program and has been helping teach our younger players how to play just like her! The club and your coaches are very proud of you! Way to go Meg!
College Fit Finder
CBAA and Buckingham United are thrilled to announce a new service we have been awarded. Our Club was fortunate enough to be granted a scholarship through United Soccer Coaches for College Fit Finder . Their mission is “to provide a full spectrum of progressive solutions for high school student-athletes and their families to combat the obstacles faced during the recruiting process.” In other words, this amazing service usually priced at $4,200/year will be available for free to all of our club members for a year to ease the daunting process of finding the right fit for continuing education.
One of the great things about College Fit Finder is the versatility it offers. This is not specific to student-athletes who want to continue as student-athletes at the collegiate level. Their system [.. read more … ]
