In December, we celebrated three wonderful legalizations.
After spending over three years in care, nine-year-old Mason was adopted on December 10th.
Seven-year-old Anthony was officially adopted on December 12th. His dream finally came true.
Five-year-old Ronnie's Christmas wish came true when he joined his family on December 20th.

Kids Need Families Giving Challenge

From Morgan and other waiting children, THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our “ Kids Need Families Giving Challenge ” on Facebook! We raised $1,605 to continue recruiting, training, and supporting families for the special children we serve.
Don’t forget, our annual evening with Dominic Tocco and Brotherhood is set for Saturday, March 28, 2020 from 6:00-10:00 pm! SANTA VISIT
On December 12th, Santa came to visit NOAS families for a holly jolly night of candy canes, games, and of course, photos! We must have been on the nice list this year!
TBRI INTRODUCTION TRAINING
TBRI Practitioners Gia and Alana lead NOAS staff & families through an introduction on Trust-Based Relational Intervention on December 14th. TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. Thank you to everyone who joined us, we are excited to see the impact TBRI will have on our agency and the children we serve.
BOOKS-A-MILLION
Thank you to the Niles Books-A-Million store for collecting donations of new books, toys and craft supplies for our agency! Their Christmases were certainly a little brighter because of your generosity.
