What is EPIC Challenge?
Experimenting, Prototyping, Inventing and Creating
Participating students research, create and present an invention or idea that would improve life for kids like those at St. Jude.
The St. Jude EPIC Challenge is an innovative STEM-based educational fundraiser that offers an authentic learning experience with a focus on while integrating social-emotional learning.
Participation in the EPIC Challenge benefits educators and students through:
- Alignment with Standards: It aligns with Next Gen Science Standards through engaging, project-based learning.
- Real-World Applications: Students will research, design, and present inventions or ideas to improve the lives of children at St. Jude.
- Flexible Curriculum: The five-lesson format can be integrated into classrooms or adapted for home learning. Curriculum can be scaled for high school and collegiate students.
