Bruin Day for Transfer Students

In May, the CAE participated in Bruin Day, welcoming newly admitted transfer students to UCLA. It was a great day for students and their families to connect with UCLA representatives and learn more about campus resources.

CAE’s Graduate Student Assistant, Emily Kass, graduated on June 17th with her Master’s of Education in Student Affairs. She has expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity to work with and learn from CAE staff and students, and she’s looking forward to continuing her work in student resources. Congratulations Emily!

Welcome Tony!

Our new Assistive Technology Specialist, Tony Ferrari, joined the CAE team in March and is really excited to be leading assistive technology efforts in supporting students.

Don’t forget to submit your housing accommodation requests as soon as possible! Housing accommodation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, so earlier applications mean that if your request is approved, Housing Services can then start working on modifying your assignment to reflect your approved housing accommodations.

CAE Drop-In Hours

Just a reminder that the CAE hosts weekly drop-in sessions with various CAE staff members to answer questions about accommodations or resources offered by the CAE.
