Just Push Play : In-Person Worship Experience

Sunday, July 12 at 9 a.m.

This Sunday we are having our first in-person worship experience, Just Push Play . We are calling it Just Push Play because after Pastor Jen provides a welcome, we will “push play” on the recorded service that you can also view still from home. If you have limited internet or are in need of connecting with others join us in-person on Sunday. If your home is serving as a suitable worship space we invite you to continue to join us virtually. After this Sunday’s Just Push Play worship experience we will reevaluate what comes next.

Please expect the following if you attend on Sunday:
  • People will enter and exit the building from the front door (under the canopy).
  • There will be no coffee or fellowship time indoors before or after worship.
  • The doors to the Fellowship Hall and the Sunday School hallway will be closed.
  • The nursery will be closed, and there will be no Sunday School. Children will stay in worship with their families.
  • Attendees will sit 6 feet from each family/couple/individual.
  • All in attendance are strongly encouraged to wear masks.

July Mission Focus: Habitat for Humanity
Putting our faith into action is at the very heart of our Christian calling. During July, our mission focus is Lakes Area Habit for Humanity (LAHFH). Grace has consistently supported LAHFH through financial giving and volunteer service. LAHFH seeks to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, community and hope. Since 1990 LAHFH has built homes and hope in Cass, Crow Wing, Hubbard and Wadena Counties, and the City of Staples. To learn more about our local Habitat for Humanity or to sign up to volunteer visit

Love Offering Invitation
Each year, churches in the Minnesota Annual Conference take a Love Offering for missions in conjunction with the Annual Conference Session. The theme of the 2020 Annual Conference session—taking place virtually on Aug. 29—is “Be the Light—Live Hope!” The Love Offering provides the opportunity to be light and hope for those crying out for love, compassion, justice, and grace in their lives. The funds from this year’s offering will to go to four projects: Simpson Housing Services (40%), Emma Norton Services (40%), Joyce Uptown Foodshelf (10%), and the Committee on Native American Ministry Diaper Drive (10%). Grace Good News: Miss Pequot Lakes Princess Escort
We want to share good news stories each week in the e-grace. Members and friends of Grace celebrating life's big and small joys! Today we celebrate Harper Palmer, a Grace 5th grader.

Harper Palmer is the princess escort to Miss Pequot Lakes Princess and Congeniality Hannah Brown. Brown and Palmer received their titles at the 33rd annual Miss Pequot Lakes Scholarship Pageant held Thursday, June 25, at Breezy Point Resort. The pageant was postponed from mid-April because of the COVID-19 situation. The pageant theme was “Honoring our Hometown Heroes,” and it opened with each candidate walking across the stage with a hometown hero, which included father, grandfather, firefighter, police chief and teacher, among others. Harper has already been busy this summer attending local events as a princess escort. Congrats Harper!

If you have good news that you would like to share please contact Andrea Langhoff .
