THANK YOU for making our first Wesleyan Way Day of Service and Giving Tuesday a success!

Meet Emmitt Carney '79
Director of the Marion Academy
Indianapolis, Ind.

"I first met Emmitt Carney when I was playing high school baseball at Daviess County High School.  I attended the Wesleyan baseball camp and Emmitt, who was a player on the Wesleyan baseball team, worked the camp. He was not only a great instructor, he was incredibly nice to me and treated me as if he had known me forever. I never forgot Emmitt Carney.  Now I realize he was already living "The Wesleyan Way" all those years ago. His professional success in law enforcement and his service to others through education and athletic instruction is not at all surprising. He rises to the top in everything he does."
- President Barton Darrell
