"Keeping in Touch" is off to the Farmers Market!

Happy Summer, Tutors!

It is July, and local farmers markets are in full swing. Farmers markets are community hubs and centerpieces -- places to meet up with family and friends and be reminded of small-town life in the midst of our communities.

They offer healthy and seasonal produce and other finds. There is real pleasure in purchasing products directly from the farm and in their freshest possible state. Weekly farmers markets are scattered all over DuPage County. Introduce and encourage your student to explore and discover their local market:

Thank you for your generosity and dedication of your time and good efforts to assist your student in achieving their goals. With improved communication skills, your student has increased life choices and opportunities.

Enjoy these summer days! As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,

During FY23, we will continue to collect your volunteer hours on a quarterly basis and your student’s achievements and goals during every assessment/review meeting, following each 30 hours of tutoring time.
