We are back with Cloudbreak: Seattle's Citywide Live Music Fest November 1-22! In partnership with Visit Seattle, and with support from the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development, Cloudbreak features local musicians performing in our independent music venues. Downtown hotel guests can qualify for free admission to Cloudbreak shows, including sold out shows. We love music! We love tourism! We really love music tourism! Green Jobs, Green Futures Summit

September 29, 12-4pm


Join us for the first annual Green Jobs, Green Futures Summit at the Fremont Foundry in Seattle! King County, in collaboration with the Port of Seattle, City of Seattle, Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County, and Seattle Good Business Network, is bringing you an interactive, one-day event geared towards creating community connections and highlighting businesses in the local green economy contributing to a more sustainable future.


We are re-envisioning the traditional job fair model to embrace experiential learning by bringing together tangible real-world demonstrations of the work taking place in the sectors vital to a climate-informed future. Sign up for the event here.

The 15th Annual Seattle Latino Film Festival

October 6 - 14


Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, the Seattle Latino Film Festival announces its 15th annual edition that will be held from October 6th - 14th. The celebration includes one hundred fourteen North American and Northwest premieres of feature films, short films, and documentaries from twenty-one countries in several different languages, which all include English subtitles. 


The festival celebration will take place in person and online (Festhome TV) in Seattle, Renton, Bellevue, Shoreline, and Mount Vernon. The 2023 venues are The Beacon Cinema, Regal Cinema, Bellevue Art Museum, Shoreline College Theater, and Seattle Opera.

 

SLFF’s free educational outreach screenings will take place at Lakeside School, Mount Baker Club, Seattle King County Libraries, University of Washington, and Lakeside Downtown. 


The Opening will be held on October 6th at Carco Theater in Renton at 7:30 pm with the US Premiere of the Canadian drama Undocumented. Christian de la Cortina, Director and Actor, and the Mexican Actor Jorge Martinez Colorado, will attend, sponsored by EC Technology Solutions.
