Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The book of Genesis has two gripping stories about Sarah’s slave-girl, Hagar: Genesis 16:1-16 and Genesis 21:8-21. Hagar, an outsider and ultimately an outcast, is the only character in the Bible to give God a name:
El-roi
, which means, “God who sees” (Genesis 16:13). Hagar was comforted and ultimately liberated by the realization God noticed and valued and helped her
when no one else did.

STAFF ANNIVERSARY
Tomorrow, June 24, marks Rozanna's one-year anniversary of service as our Minister of Music. Rozanna has made many invaluable contributions to our church’s worship and music including leading the transition to online worship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please take this opportunity to offer Rozanna your thanks for her good work among and alongside us.

CELEBRATING OUR GRADUATES
Congratulations to all our church’s recent graduates and other graduates in our church’s extended family.
Sadly, due to COVID-19 restrictions, these graduates did not enjoy the usual public and festive celebrations of past years. So let us note and celebrate their accomplishments here:

DONATIONS TO HELP OUR VULNERABLE NEIGHBORS
We continue to receive gifts of toilet paper, toilet bowl cleaner, and bars of soap for distribution through the Bolton Food Pantry.
Gifts of board books to be distributed through Imprints Cares are also being received. Board books are those designed with thick cardboard pages that are easy to turn and are excellent learning tools for very young children.
The Bolton and Imprints Cares donations can be left in the appropriate bins on the porch of the Wellness and Community Center weekdays 9-5
