From School Leadership

November 14, 2024

Dear Park Spanish Immersion Elementary School Community:

It has been an exciting week around our school! Last Thursday's PTO Family Fun and Fitness Night was a great success! Our third graders had a successful field trip to the Bell Museum yesterday, and our second graders learned at Westwood Nature Center last Thursday.

Next week, we have several family events. Our kindergarten families are invited to the Kindergarten Talent Development Night on Tuesday from 5:00-5:45 pm; feel free to drop in at any time. We will have our first Somos Uno event on Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 pm for families of Latinx students, and we will have a PTO meeting on Thursday from 5:45-6:30 in the Media Center. Please see below for more information.

Have a great week, keep reading, and thank you for sharing your children with us.

In partnership,

Corey Maslowski, Principal

Megan Paulis de Rangel, Assistant Principal

As it is National School Psychology Awareness Week, we want to introduce you to our school psychologist. Dr. Crystal Grow is the school psychologist here at PSI, we are so happy to have her!

Support the PSI PTO this Give to the Max!

The PSI PTO is participating in Give to the Max Day 2024, Minnesota's state-wide giving holiday next Thursday!

Give to the Max raises millions each year for Minnesota nonprofits and schools and offers organizations like the PTO the chance to win additional grants from a prize pool of more than $100,000. Every donation of $5 or more, now through Give to the Max Day, Nov. 21st, enters the PSI PTO in these drawings.

We recognize that many families gave to the Leer-a-tón recently, for which we are so appreciative. If you missed donating to Leer-a-tón or find your family in a position to give again, you could help us win additional grant money!

Last year during Give to the Max the PTO raised $2,500 from 40 donors. This year, we have a goal to raise $3,000You can give to PSI PTO online by visiting the PSI PTO GiveMN page. Thank you for any support you can give!
