Dear Park Spanish Immersion Elementary School Community:

We hope that you have had a great week!  It was wonderful to connect with so many families at our PTO-sponsored picnic on Tuesday evening!  The children had a great time with beautiful weather!  Thanks to our PTO for their sponsorship of this community event!

We hope that you are able to join us for Welcome Night next Thursday.  Please see below for more information.

As we are working on routines and building stamina in the classroom, we are also assessing students formally and informally to help us guide our instruction.  We look forward to connecting with families next month at our Fall Connect Times on the evening of Tuesday, October 15 and during the day on Wednesday, October 16.  Please watch for a special edition La Prensa on Monday afternoon with links for Connect Time signs ups.

Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15-October 15.  As a community, we honor and celebrate the rich histories, cultures and accomplishments of Hispanic/Latinx community members daily.  During this month we give extra recognition to the many contributions they have made to our global community.  See here to learn more, and watch for ways we will celebrate Hispanic/Latinx excellence in our community.

Have a great week, and thank you for sharing your children with us!

In partnership,

Corey Maslowski, Principal

Megan Paulis de Rangel, Assistant Principal

Kiss and Ride & Dismissal Procedures

Thanks to everyone for their patience as we are implementing our routines to ensure safety for all.

Please see here for reminders about our procedures. For student safety, please only drop off and pick up at door 3; please do NOT use the main entrance (door 1). Due to buses, walkers, and bike riders, we need everyone to drop off/pick up in the line and not in front of the office. Please remember to pull all the way forward in line, and use the proper turn lanes when exiting. Note that there is only one entrance lane and two exit lanes.

In order to support staff and keep students safe, please notify your child's classroom teacher of any schedule changes to dismissal as early as possible. If it is during the day, please also call the school office prior to 1:00 pm (952-928-6555).

Join us for the Inaugural PSI Community Garden Build Day!
