Attendance

We are excited to welcome our students back to school! It is important to build consistent routines for our students and for them to be inside their classrooms by 7:45 daily. Families, if your child will be absent, please remember to call the 24-hour attendance line (952-928-6570) ANY time your child will be late or absent from school.

Kiss and Ride morning drop off time is between 7:28 and 7:42 a.m. Students should be inside their classrooms by 7:45. The school day ends at 2:15 pm.  Not calling in your child’s absence will result in an automated attendance call, AND will result in an unexcused tardy or absence per the school procedures. Click here for the St. Louis Park Attendance Policy.

Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15-October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month! Please join us in honoring the inspiring cultures, histories, and contributions of our Hispanic community. We are privileged to work with so many amazing students, families, and staff and community members. Please click here to learn more information about Hispanic Heritage Month.

Meet Staff New to PSI!

Hello, my name is Kelsey Clark and I am the new Elementary Support Supervisor at PSI! In this role, I'll be working with students, staff, and families to help support daily operations. I am excited to get to know everyone and will start by sharing a bit about myself. I was adopted from Bangalore, India at 1 years old and grew up in Golden Valley. I attended schools in the Twin Cities area and have lived in St. Louis Park for the past 10 years. My husband, Dave, and I have two children and our fur baby. Jax will be in 2nd grade and Autumn in 1st grade at PSI this year. I was previously a Licensed School Counselor in various roles the past 13 years in the Minneapolis Public School District. I have also been a supervisor in the UMN School Counseling Program and very involved in the local and state School Counseling Associations and other educational advocacy groups. Over the summer I earned my Educational Specialist Degree to receive my Administrative License. One of my internship sites throughout the program the past 1.5 years was at PSI. I am really excited to work in St. Louis Park at PSI as an educator, parent and community member. I have enjoyed my first few weeks welcoming students, families and staff into the building for the new 2022-2023 school year and look forward to getting to know everyone better throughout the year!

¡Hola!  I’m Srta. Tori Bohn! (Pronounced, ‘Bon’) Raised right here in SLP and graduated class of 2009. :) I received my teaching license for Urban Elementary Education and have spent the past 5 years in education. I gathered as much experience as I could at Aquila & Peter Hobart elementary schools, SLP high school, and Breck high school. Now, I’m so excited to have this opportunity to be a first grade teacher here at PSI! I have a son who’s in Kindergarten here, and I’m thankful I get to work in the same building as him. I love being outdoors, traveling near and far, photography, painting, dancing, and being a mom! If you ever need anything, I’m here and have a very open mind and heart! <3 I hope to connect with more of you this year.
