Growing pains ... and opportunities
A message from the Superintendent
Our district is expected to grow by 1,400 more students in the next five years -- two-thirds of them at the elementary level. We are honored that so many families choose our schools. We also want to be sure we have appropriate spaces, ample staff and enough resources to provide the educational experience each student needs and deserves. This spring, the board will go through the process to decide what financial support it may ask of residents in a November 2019 referendum. Read more HERE.

Two students named National Merit Scholarship Finalists
Two seniors from Chanhassen and Chaska High Schools have been named National Merit Scholarship Finalists: Tanner Brady, Chanhassen High School, and Rory Bartels, Chaska High School. This achievement puts them among the top high school scholars in the country. Finalists are chosen based on their academic skills and achievements, extracurricular accomplishments, leadership abilities, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
