Rock ‘N’ Read will come to a close this Friday and we are thrilled to share that Ravenswood students have been eagerly devouring books. They have already racked up an impressive 100,000 extra minutes of reading as part of the Literacy Challenge and we still have 4 days to go!
But this challenge is about more than just minutes—it’s about ensuring every student has the support they need to become a confident, skilled reader all year long. The Literacy Challenge is raising funds to provide:
- Six Reading Intervention Teachers
- Three Literacy Coaches
- One Director of Teaching and Learning
- Professional Development for Teachers
These essential resources help struggling readers catch up and give all students the opportunity to thrive.
We’re $150,000 away from reaching our Literacy Challenge fundraising goal and we need your help to cross the finish line. Every dollar makes a difference in providing these critical literacy programs.
