Ministry Formation Program information sessions for the Class of 2027

The MFP is three years of comprehensive growth in theological topics, human development, pastoral skills, and spiritual formation through classes, group study, skills workshops, prayer experiences, and retreats.

We have hosted information sessions across the diocese to share more information and practical steps. The last in person offering will be:

Monday, March 18 St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish  6:30 – 8:00 pm

An RSVP is nice, but not a requirement: Lauren's Email

In addition to our remaining MFP Information Night on March 18th, we are hosting an Information Night via Zoom on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. We realized that, even though our Information Nights cover each deanery, folks may not be able to attend one of our in-person sessions due to scheduling conflicts, distance, etc.

If you know of anyone who would be interested in attending our Zoom Information Night, please pass this along to them!

Teach Like a Saint

March 26th 3:00 PM

Teaching comes with more than its fair share of challenges, but we need not despair! Many saints who worked as teachers and catechists have walked this road before us. In this webinar, seasoned teacher Amy J. Cattapan will demonstrate how we can learn from the examples of the Saints when it comes to handling disruptive, disinterested, and otherwise challenging students. Join us as we take a look at what educators like St. John Bosco, St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, and Servant of God Thea Bowman did to manage expectations in their schools and classrooms.
