Eddie is a man of few words. But when he does speak, we all listen. Eddie has been with NTM since he was in high school, and through the years his role has evolved and changed. Eddie leads the charge in Quality Assurance, the chair of our Safety Committee, and plays a crucial role in ISO recertification. Eddie is a mentor and coach to new employees and proactively addressing challenges and offering solutions.

• Name: Eddie Engesether, Quality Manager
• How long have you been at NTM? 28 years
• What was your first week at NTM like? On my first day I was very nervous. Because I was part of my high school apprenticeship program, I would go to school one day then go to work the next day. So, it was very exciting to be at work instead of school.
• What has changed? There have been a lot of changes in the 28 years I have been at NTM- From being the youngest employee, to retiring coworkers to welcoming new employees, to new equipment and technology, to my expanded roles at NTM. It’s been very exciting and a pleasure to be at NTM.     
• Any notable memories of time at NTM? I remember the first time I crashed the CNC machine I was working on. Let’s just say it caused a good amount of damage to the machine. Our plant manager came up to me and did not look happy. I thought I was going to be fired on the spot. He gave me a very stern talking to but was very fair about it. Needless to say, I never made that mistake again.
• What do you like to do outside of work? I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching all Minnesota sports teams.
