This year we have the triple 8-8-8 as August, the 8th month and the 8th day occur an 8 year. The "Lion's Gate Portal" is a combination of astrology, ancient cosmology, and numerology—all channeling a very specific celestial alignment hitting climax on August 8. In ancient Shamanic cultures, Sirius was believed to be a portal to the Gods, and journeys taken through the Sirius Gateway were said to bring Divine messages.

Monday, the Moon, in Aries, connects with all of the outer planets and the Sun. It's a busy day beginning just after midnight with a lunar sextile and conjunction to Neptune. Imagination runs wild. Dreams may be strange, transformative or even frightening. Before the Moon moves into the second hour of the day it is sextile Uranus. This is a good time to stay home and away from dangerous neighborhoods. Most anything could happen with this threesome joining forces with the Moon. By daylight the energies are much better with a lunar trine to Jupiter. People are going to be in a much more generous mood. By lunchtime a lunar trine with the Sun continuess to improve the mood of the day. This evening things settle down and may even be a bit of a downer a the Moon conjoins the Sun, bringing seriousness to the end of the day.

Tuesday the Moon is square Mercury in the late morning causing communication disconnects and misunderstanding. Something may need to be talked out since the Moon is sextile Mars in the early afternoon. Energy levels run high and impatience is apt to be a problem. A lunar quincunx to Venus before the Moon enters Taurus and while it is void of course could make the day less than comfortable, or find some issues with money or love.

I can say nothing good about Wednesday other than it could force much needed change as the Taurus Moon is square Pluto, Jupiter and the Sun.

Thursday the Moon is sextile Mercury in the early evening. The Sun is trine Saturn. This could be a good day to deal with elders and bosses.

Friday is another day filled with activity. The Moon, now in Gemini is trine Venus, now in Libra. This is a good aspect for pampering yourself and since it occurs in the wee hours of the morning, enjoy your nice soft bed and snuggle in. By wake up time the Moon is trine Pluto and then sextile Neptune. The upside of this transit is transformational imagination. The down side is jealousy due to an overactive imagination. Illusions can be either good or bad with these two working together. By late morning the Moon conjoins Uranus giving a much needed breath of fresh air. This may be a nervous energy and restless, but it has no room for manipulation or control This is a true free spirit aspect. By late afternoon the Moon is sextile Jupiter. Feelings of good will and expansion replace the morning's negativity.

Saturday the Moon is sextile Saturn and the Sun in the early morning hours. Now is the time to enjoy your rest.

Sunday the Moon conjoins Mars just into the early morning hours. This may find you restless or agitated. The Moon enters Cancer before making a square to Venus at breakfast time. This is followed by a quincunx to Pluto and square to Neptune. Avoid recreational drugs and alcohol today, especially during the early part of the day. Mercury enters Leo for a month long stay. Communications take on a bolder and more fun and dynamic nature..
