Parking Lot Fundraising Campaign Status
| |
April 30th was a very big day! That day the stripes were painted on the new asphalt, completing our parking lot repairs, and cars were welcomed onto the beautifully repaved surface. Our collective thanks go out to Scott Davis, Northmont’s manager for the project, who worked with the paving company, Tresco, to successfully implement the renovation.
Now, as we enjoy the fruits of these labors, it only remains to finish paying for the new parking lot. Our fundraising campaign continues, with $63,800 (67% of our goal) now having been raised. The remainder of the expense was loaned to the project by the Major Maintenance & Repair Fund. To have progressed this far toward our goal is a notable achievement in itself, and we are so very grateful to all of those who have contributed so generously to the project. Your faithfulness and commitment to the church and its future is truly heartwarming.
To those who have not yet contributed (in addition to your annual giving), we hope that you will give further prayerful consideration to doing so. We are blessed to have been able to make this improvement to one of our very important assets, but we could really use your help in bringing this funding drive to the same successful conclusion that we experienced with the parking lot itself. If you can help, please indicate “Parking Lot Campaign” with your donations so that your gifts can be properly accounted.
Thank You!
Ted Mills, Parking Lot Funding Drive Manager
