March 2025

Letter from the President by Charli Thyne

The Golden Age – MAGA on the Move

Trump’s warp-speed executive orders have made woke heads explode! Even the media who cover his whirlwind efforts say it’s “like drinking out of a fire hose.” I, for one, can’t stop smiling!

Unlike Biden, who only answered 141 questions in his first month, President Trump answered a

whopping 1,009 questions!

Why do the libs rage against DOGE? Could it be that their gravy train has (finally) come to an end? The outrage is totally suspect. Waste, fraud and abuse run rampant. Where are the federal employees? We’ve seen videos of vacant cubicles, yet they are still cashing paychecks.

DOGE is finding massive inconsistencies in government. The truth is that the DOGE cuts are popular with 80% of the country. Left-wing activist groups are funding the DOGE protests. Contrast that to Right to Life marches which are authentic, organic and require no outside funding.

What can we do? We can support President Donald J. Trump and Elon Musk as they endeavor to rid our country of unnecessary spending and balance the budget. We must do everything we can to ensure that our massive debt is crushed. America has the largest sources of clean energy. When energy is widely available, prices go down and families are able to enjoy the American dream.

A thriving economy makes life better for all!

Charli

We've got more elections coming up!

We just finished breathing a sigh of relief that North Carolina delivered for President Trump and a number of other key Republican candidates....when it's time to gear up for the municipal elections!

Yes, this November in Moore County, we have 33 municipal offices up for election, and these positions directly influence our infrastructure, public safety, schools, and local economy. Click here for a list of the positions that will be decided.

If you’re passionate about creating positive change in our community, now is the time to step up. Interested in running? Reach out to the Moore County GOP at info@mooregop.com.

We need quality candidates who will help Moore County remain a wonderful place to live! Learn how to WIN at the conservative Leadership Institute, here.

This is an important meeting, where lots of business will be conducted. This includes approval of reports from key committees; election of the county officers and other Executive Committee members; and election of delegates and alternates to the State Convention in Greensboro, June 5-8. Those delegates and alternates will be automatically elected as delegates and alternates to the 9th Congressional District Convention.

If you're interested in attending, you'll need to sign in and register when you arrive.

Adopt-a-Road trash pick-up - March 26

President Trump has called the climate change agenda "The Green New Scam." It's great to finally be honest about this. BUT - we still want to have clean water, clean air - and clean roadsides!

MRW cares deeply about our environment, and we've Adopted a Road as an organization. We need volunteers to come help us pick up trash along Airport Road on March 26. We meet at the Harris Teeter in Whispering Pines (parking lot nearest the gas station) at Noon. Bring a picker-upper and gloves; vests and bags are provided.
