As we approach a new academic year and the UCSF Anti-racism Initiative progresses, we are transitioning 'Matter' Is the Minimum to a monthly schedule.

We welcome submissions to the newsletter. We also encourage your active participation in our programs, services and events, and in community efforts to combat anti-Blackness and other forms of racism. Thank you for your engagement.

Communities of color have been hit hardest by COVID-19. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the streets in an outcry against police brutality and racism. Both issues have roots in the same problem.
