Chancellor Awards for Diversity Recipients 2024


The 2024 Chancellor Awards for Diversity recipients were announced and honored at an awards ceremony on October 29. Awards are annually bestowed to faculty, staff, and learners for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership; Advancement of Women; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, & Intersex Leadership; and Disability Service.

UCSF Virtual Matchmaking Event for Postbaccalaureate Scholars


UCSF is hosting a matchmaking event on January 30, 2025 with a series of 10-minute interviews with UCSF faculty looking to hire for paid research positions. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree by June 2025 and be eligible for an NIH Diversity Supplement. Faculty are encouraged to register to be interviewers.

The Learning for Early Careers in Addiction and Diversity (LEAD) program offers mentorship and training to postdoctoral fellows and assistant professors who are pursuing independent research careers in substance use and substance use disorder treatment.

GME Diversity Mix and Mingle Funds

Applications Due December 6



GME Diversity is sponsoring up to $500 for trainees to plan an event involving residents or fellow from two or more programs. Proposed initiatives should be centered around a theme or shared interest and include 10 or more attendees. The project must be completed by May 1, 2025
