I wrote this resolution to recognize Mceachern High School Lady Basketball Team as the Georgia State Champs Spring 2017 with Governor Nathan Deal



Free weapon permit for law enforcement officers who had to retire honorably  because of a disability

It will increase the personal allowance allotted for people in nursing homes to purchase personal hygiene and toiletry items to $70 dollars.They will now have more money for their personal needs 
It was attached to House Bill 206, adopted, and signed by the Governor.

The last increase was about 10 years ago!


Posting in government buildings the hotline phone number for human trafficking. House Legislation  was attached to this bill 
Senator Donzella James and I  co-sponsored this bill.

This bill which I co-wrote and co-sponsored will allow veterans who work for the state to receive credit in the state retirement system based on their years of active duty military service.
It is going  through a financial review and will come up for a vote next session
