David Thomas Tours Celebrating 40 Years in Business

David Benedict established David Tours in 1980. They initially offered both groups and individuals a variety of packages to the Atlantic City casinos.
After the first year of operation, David Tours began to offer a wide variety of tours to many destinations. In 1983 David Tours became a member of the National Tour Association pledging its commitment to ethical business practices and tour product quality.
David Tours continued to expand throughout the eighties, adding a retail travel division. With this expansion of services into the travel industry, David Tours' name evolved to David Tours & Travel (DTT), a full-service tour and travel agency, with appointments from the Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) and International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN).
Tour products broadened to include Educational Student Tours, offering a comprehensive variety of educational tours for schools and youth groups, and "The Ultimate Crab Feast in Baltimore" - still one of the most popular tours offered. They continued to experience steady growth in the 1990's and in 1997. David Benedict established David Thomas Tours - a luxury charter motorcoach company.
David Tours is truly a family business, as his children are now also very active in the business.
