Based in Edison New Jersey, Raritan Valley Bus Service is a family-run motorcoach company that has been in business since 1936. They are one of the safest charter companies in the Tri-State area and beyond.
The business was founded by Steve Yelencsics Sr. and his brothers. Steve Sr. was a World War II veteran and went off to defend our country in the Marines. He safely returned in 1945, and used his GI loan to purchase more buses. The buses were used for charters, tours, and anything else his customers required. The rest you can say, is history!
Today, the business is successfully ran by Steve's two sons, Steve Jr. and John Yelencsics. They still rely heavily on their father's values and work ethic that he instilled in them. Even in today's challenging business landscape, they still are in everyday, and doing their best to drum up what business they can!
Recently, Steve Jr's son Corey was elected to the GNJMA Board of Directors. Corey is the chair of the Membership & Bylaws Committee. Corey is hopeful to one day pass the business along to a son or daughter.
