If there's a fire hydrant near your house, help keep it accessible this winter: Clear a wide enough perimeter around the hydrant for firefighters to work(about 3 ft.) & clear a path from the hydrant to the street.
We ask all residents and contractors to refrain from blowing, plowing, and/or shoveling snow into the street. This is counterproductive to our efforts to clear and salt the streets, and makes it hazardous to motorists and pedestrians.
