STRIVE Success Story: From Military Missions to Aerial Mastery: How a Former UAV Pilot Built Eagle Eye Sky

During Morgan Turner's time in the military, he served as a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) pilot, where he developed advanced skills in UAV operations, mission planning, and safety protocols. His duties included conducting comprehensive pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks, ensuring mission readiness, and performing launch and recovery operations. Additionally, he conducted Reconnaissance, and Surveillance, contributing to critical military intelligence efforts. He also took on equipment management tasks, troubleshooting and maintaining communication systems, power sources, and vehicles. These experiences provided him with a solid foundation in aviation, discipline, and a strong commitment to precision, qualities that now drive his civilian career.

After returning from the Army as a UAV operator, Morgan found himself drawn to the commercial potential of drones in photography and videography. Many veterans in his field often transition into government or military contracting, but he felt a strong pull to carve his own path. Inspired by his military experience and a desire to explore new applications of small drones, he founded Eagle Eye Sky to bring professional aerial imagery to a wide range of clients. The name reflects his appreciation for the eagle—a symbol often associated with military aviation—and his deep connection to the skills he developed in service. At Eagle Eye Sky, Morgan's mission is to use his military-honed expertise to deliver outstanding imagery that meets the highest standards of safety and quality. As a fully licensed operator, he brings integrity and attention to detail to every project, helping clients in real estate, construction, and other sectors showcase their work from unique perspectives. His goal is to make Eagle Eye Sky a trusted leader in aerial photography, setting a high bar for professionalism in the industry.
