For the last year Ralph at Jetpack Comics I ( and a team of interns) have been taking a census of comic shops in the world. We plan on making the list public by summer.
WHY?
#1-There is NO current public list.
#2-It will be a valuable tool for creator owned & The micro distribution movement.
#3-It will make it easier for Publishers to work with shops.
