Today marks the end of National Concussion Awareness Week – and we are excited to launch our new concussion resources for you to use in your clubs.
A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury that occurs when there is a hit to the head, face, neck or anywhere on the body with forces transmitted to the brain. Concussions can happen in any sport, including volleyball. It is very important that we all take concussion and head injury seriously.
As part of our commitment to safe sport, we have worked with Kids Physio Group to develop these resources to support all participants in understanding how to recognise, manage, and ensure the safe return to play after a concussion.
