Deborah Leter, a third-year Ph.D. student at the Graduate Center, is studying cultural anthropology while teaching at Hunter and researching France-Africa relations and colonial legacies. She also serves as communications co-chair for the Doctoral and Graduate Students’ Council, the GC student government, in her second year on the DGSC.
