2026 AIA Kentucky Design & Service Awards

Call for Submissions & Nominations

The Honor Awards Program of AIA Kentucky seeks to honor and bring to public attention distinctive works of architecture created in Kentucky and by Kentucky architects. Projects completed in the past 10 years are eligible, with past winners ranging from single family homes to small commercial buildings to major public projects. Entries may be submitted only by AIA members.

Program Updates based on Member Feedback:

  • Submissions are still blind juried by a panel of out of state architects
  • (*NEW) ALL 2026 submissions will be nominated for inclusion as a project feature in the upcoming season of the CBS hit, "America ByDesign"
  • (*NEW) Previous submissions not yet recognized are encouraged to be resubmitted at a 50% discount
  • (*NEW) Submissions have been modernized to an HD PDF format for design flexibility, software preference, and higher resolution images
  • (*NEW) Awards Category thresholds have been updated to better align with current construction costs
