‘NEVER AGAIN’

January 27, 2025 commemorated International Holocaust Remembrance Day. This day was designated by the United Nations to mark the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and death camp 80 years ago. The slogan ‘NEVER AGAIN’ came to be associated with the lessons of the Holocaust. If you are ever in Washington D.C. and visit the Holocaust Museum you will understand why! The Holocaust resulted in the genocide of a staggering one-third of the Jewish people along with countless numbers of other individuals by Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945. 

The RI Family Institute has linked up with the RI Coalition for Israel to work with legislators to pass The International Holocaust Remembrance Act (IHRA) in Rhode Island. Antisemitism is on the rise on college campuses here in RI like Brown University, on campuses across America, and around the globe. As Christians we recognize the spiritual nature of this battle. Anti-Israel and Pro Palestinian marches are taking place and Jewish students are being threatened and harassed. Please pray for bi-partisan support and the passage of IHRA and I will keep you informed on the progress. 

Remember the blessing God gave to Abraham in Genesis 12:2-3 - "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

Another joint effort we are involved in is to provide a biblically-based curriculum on Israel for use in Christian High Schools, Elementary Schools and Home School Co-ops created by Christians United for Israel (CUFI). Myself and a few administrators from our Christian School Coalition will be visiting Auschwitz in Poland and then on to Israel in June as preparation for teaching this curriculum.
